Škoda introduces Camp Mode for electric vehicles

Škoda has added a new Camp Mode to its MyŠkoda mobile application. The feature lets drivers keep the cabin climate at a set temperature while sleeping or resting in an electric vehicle, without needing to run the internal combustion engine.

The update, delivered over‑the‑air in app version 8.14, works with all Škoda EV models that have active Škoda Connect services – including Enyaq, Elroq, Epiq and Peaq – and will also be available for older Enyaq variants. Activation requires the battery to be charged to at least 30 % and the vehicle to have Škoda Connect enabled. No service visit is needed.

Škoda has not disclosed how long the climate system can run continuously in Camp Mode or the exact energy consumption during overnight use.
