Škoda Mobile Charging Stations Support Over 1,000 EV Trips in Turkey
Škoda's brand‑independent mobile charging stations operated across Turkey in the first six months of 2026 completed 1,070 on‑site charging sessions for 456 electric‑vehicle owners. The fleet travelled more than 31,941 kilometres and transferred 26,893 kWh of energy, with each session delivering an average of 25 kWh.
Over 70% of the charging operations were provided to non‑Škoda vehicles, showing the service’s open‑access model. Demand peaked in May, when 353 charges were performed—a 50% increase over the previous monthly record. The service responded to 134 breakdowns, with notable activity in the Urla, Çeşme, Edremit Bay and Thrace regions. Users’ average age was 41, and the most active age group was 30‑44 years.
Škoda plans to expand the service’s reach and improve customer experience in the second half of the year, building on the operational data and feedback gathered during the first half.
