KODA partners with Figment to expand institutional Ethereum staking in South Korea

KODA, South Korea’s leading institutional digital asset custodian, has entered a partnership with global staking infrastructure provider Figment to expand Ethereum (ETH) staking services for institutional clients.

The collaboration allows Korean institutions to earn staking rewards on their digital assets while maintaining their holdings under KODA’s regulated custody framework. This service is designed to meet strict internal controls and compliance standards required by corporations and asset managers. By utilizing Figment’s validator network, clients can participate in network operations without the need to manage keys or run their own validators.

KODA was co-founded by KB Kookmin Bank and Hashed. The company holds a significant portion of the South Korean institutional custody market and maintains various certifications, including SOC1 Type 2 and ISMS, to support digital asset treasury (DAT) strategies for corporate clients.
