Skoda releases free 3D-printable files for car accessories
Skoda has launched a new initiative by releasing free 3D-printable files for various interior car accessories via the Printables platform. This collection, titled ‘Individual 3D-Printable Accessories’, allows vehicle owners to download and manufacture their own custom parts at home or through third-party services.
The available accessories include phone holders, cup holders, cable organizers, coin boxes, and storage inserts. Specific designs have been developed for newer electric models, such as the Epiq and the seven-seater Peaq, as well as for several existing models including the Fabia, Scala, Kamiq, Karoq, Octavia, Superb, Kodiaq, Enyaq, and Elroq.
Skoda specifies that these files are intended for private use only, and commercial use of the printed parts is prohibited. The company also recommends that users utilize heat-resistant plastics, noting that vehicle interiors can reach high temperatures under direct sunlight.
