Kodak launches PROSPER Plus 5 Imprinting System
Kodak has launched the PROSPER Plus 5 Imprinting System, a new addition to its PROSPER Plus portfolio designed to help printers and packaging manufacturers modernize existing production equipment. Utilizing KODAK Stream Inkjet Technology, the system can be integrated into current presses and finishing lines to enable variable data printing, coding, serialization, and personalization.
The system operates at a print speed of 152 meters per minute with a resolution of 600 x 900 dpi. It is intended for various applications, including direct mail, security printing, lottery, and personal care products. By adding this technology to existing assets, companies can pursue higher-margin work and respond more quickly to changing market demands without replacing their entire production setup.
Additionally, Kodak is simplifying its product lineup by renaming the PROSPER Plus 1/1W and PROSPER Plus 2/2W models to PROSPER Plus 10 and PROSPER Plus 20, respectively, to reflect their production speeds.
