Kodansha to release ultimate Kamen Rider photo book

Kodansha is releasing a special commemorative photo book titled ‘TV Magazine Special Edition: Kamen Rider 1971–1973 Kodansha Collection Ultimate’. The 400-page book features rare still photographs taken on the sets of the original 98-episode television series and two films.

The collection includes unique shots captured by Kodansha photographer Koji Oshima, featuring moments not previously seen in ‘TV Magazine’ or other publications. This includes candid shots, various angles of monsters, and footage spanning the entire series through the final Gel-Shocker arc. The release comes as the franchise approaches its 55th anniversary in 2026.
