Kodeń Sanctuary announces feast day and harvest celebrations

The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Kodeń in the Lublin region has announced its upcoming feast day celebrations for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the religious festivities will be combined with traditional harvest celebrations (dożynki) on a communal and parish level.

The event, held under the theme ‘With Mary, we thank you for the harvests,’ serves as a significant gathering for the local community to express gratitude for the year's crops. As a well-known center for Marian devotion in eastern Poland, the sanctuary expects to host thousands of pilgrims and residents for the liturgical celebrations and regional traditions.
