Kodim 0601/Pandeglang conducts regional infrastructure and disaster mitigation activities

The Kodim 0601/Pandeglang military command is actively engaged in several community development and safety initiatives across the Pandeglang Regency in Banten.

In Cibaliung, military personnel are supervising the construction of the Cirametuk suspension bridge. The project is currently in the finishing stages for the pylons and pendulums, with further progress dependent on the fabrication of steel components to ensure structural safety and connectivity for remote rural areas.

In the Majasari district, Koramil 0101/Pandeglang is conducting a rehabilitation project at SDN Karaton 5. Personnel are working to improve school facilities, specifically focusing on structural repairs such as window openings, to create a more conducive learning environment for students.

Additionally, security forces in the Panimbang district are performing routine technical monitoring of tsunami warning sirens. This collaborative effort between the TNI and local civil service (Satpol PP) aims to ensure disaster preparedness and functional early warning systems along the vulnerable southern coast of Banten.
