Koçdüzü Plateau hosts 40th traditional festival in Rize

The 40th annual Koçdüzü Plateau Festival was held over two days in the Çamlıhemşin district of Rize. Organized by the MEKADER Association in collaboration with the headmen of Dikkaya, Güllü, and Behice villages, the event was held in memory of the late Hacı Ahmet Gümba.

The festival featured a diverse program including football tournaments for children, boat races at Adalıgöl, volleyball matches, traditional horon dances, concerts, and firework displays. Mevlüt Kalay, President of MEKADER, stated that the event serves to preserve traditional values and bring children and youth together.
