Kłodzko County distributes AED defibrillators to five facilities
Kłodzko County has equipped five local institutions with Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to enhance emergency response capabilities. The devices, which include the iPAD SP1 model, additional electrodes, and specialized storage cabinets, were distributed to facilities in Kłodzko and Nowa Ruda.
The recipient institutions include the County Psychological and Pedagogical Center in Kłodzko, the County Family Assistance Center, CAPOW in Kłodzko, the “Wspólnota Dziecięca Gromadka” socialization-type care and education center in Nowa Ruda, and a Social Welfare Home in Nowa Ruda. These facilities provide social assistance, childcare, and psychological support.
The purchase was funded through resources allocated for civil defense and population protection. Local officials emphasized that the equipment is vital for life-saving interventions during sudden cardiac arrest, where immediate action is critical.
