Kłodzko police recover stolen bicycle and arrest suspect

Police in Kłodzko have recovered a stolen bicycle belonging to a 17-year-old student who used the vehicle to commute to school and vocational training. The theft occurred outside a hair salon where the teenager was completing his apprenticeship.

Following an investigation, officers identified and detained a 39-year-old man with a prior criminal record for property crimes. The suspect admitted to the theft, claiming he took advantage of the unattended bicycle. The stolen property is valued at approximately 3,000 PLN.

The suspect faces a potential prison sentence of up to five years. Local authorities have used the incident to remind residents to use sturdy locks and maintain detailed documentation of their bicycles to deter theft.
