Koei Tecmo announces The Apothecary Diaries video game

Koei Tecmo has announced 'The Apothecary Diaries: The False Imperial Brother', the first console video game based on the popular light novel series. The mystery adventure is expected to release in early 2027.

Players will take on the role of the protagonist, Maomao, using her medical knowledge and investigative skills to solve mysteries involving five curses and a conspiracy regarding a purported imperial brother. Gameplay will include exploration, investigation, and the preparation of medicines and compounds.

The title is slated for release on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows via Steam.
