Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember set for March 2027 release

Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have announced that the action RPG Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is scheduled for worldwide release on March 4, 2027. The title will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, with day-one availability on Xbox Game Pass.

Set in 208 AD during the Three Kingdoms period, the sequel features expanded open-world environments inspired by historic battles like Changban and the Red Cliffs. The gameplay introduces Insight Skills, allowing players to use terrain for counterattacks and perform acrobatic aerial maneuvers.

A free Alpha Demo is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S through September 30, 2026. The demo includes a character creator and three-player online multiplayer. Players who complete the demo can unlock the Fledgling Phoenix Helmet for use in the full game.
