Koei Tecmo expands Nintendo Switch 2 support with ports, remasters and new titles

Koei Tecmo announced in its latest quarterly earnings that it will increase its focus on Nintendo's upcoming Switch 2 console. The publisher plans to balance major releases with a larger catalogue of mid‑range games, remasters and ports for the platform. Titles already confirmed include Dynasty Warriors: Origins, the upcoming Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty slated for September 2026, and future releases such as Wo Long 2, Blue Reflection Quartet and a Fatal Frame 2 remake. The strategy aims to diversify revenue and mitigate rising development and hardware costs by offering cheaper remastered and ported titles alongside new midsize projects.

By broadening its Switch 2 lineup, Koei Tecmo hopes to sustain growth despite industry‑wide price pressures and to solidify its presence on Nintendo’s next‑generation hardware.
