Koenigsegg Gemera vandalized in Copenhagen
The world’s first customer-delivered Koenigsegg Gemera, valued at over $2.5 million, was severely vandalized in downtown Copenhagen. The incident occurred on the night of August 23, 2026, while the vehicle was parked outside the Hotel d’Angleterre on Kongens Nytorv.
Vandals reportedly used heavy bricks or stones to attack the red-painted hypercar, resulting in a shattered windshield, broken side windows, a torn-off rearview mirror, and damage to the carbon fiber body and doors. The vehicle, which features a custom Johan Röd paint finish, is one of only 300 units planned for production.
The car is expected to be transported back to the Koenigsegg factory in Ängelholm, Sweden, for repairs.
