Kogado Studio announces new visual novel ‘Sugar Lies’

Kogado Studio has announced its new short-form visual novel, ‘Sugar Lies’, developed by the production team ‘S:OWLS’. The story follows a young man who suffers from a physical aversion to lies and his encounter with a girl who constantly performs an ideal persona for others.

The Steam version is scheduled for release in late 2026, followed by a Nintendo Switch version in spring 2027. The game features voice acting from Ikumi Hasegawa and Hikaru Iida.

At Tokyo Game Show 2026, a playable prologue will be available at the Konami Digital Entertainment booth from September 17 to 21. Additionally, a special information broadcast is scheduled for September 18 on the official Konami YouTube channel, featuring producer Kawa-shonin 49 and voice actress Hikaru Iida.
