Kogi road crash kills six people

Six people died and two others were injured following a collision between a truck and a commercial vehicle on the Kabba–Odo-Ape Road in the Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State. The accident occurred on Saturday.

Lawal Fagge, the Kogi State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, attributed the crash to speeding. He advised motorists to avoid excessive speed, unnecessary overtaking, and driving while fatigued to prevent future accidents. The deceased were taken to the morgue at the General Hospital in Kabba, while the injured received medical treatment.
