Kogi State Airport construction undergoes inspection

Kogi State Commissioner for Works, Salami Ozigi Deedat, has inspected the ongoing construction of the Kogi State Airport, specifically the major access road and the airport terminal.

During the inspection, Deedat directed contractors to adhere strictly to approved technical specifications, quality standards, and completion timelines. He emphasized that the project is a strategic infrastructure investment intended to enhance the state’s economic prospects, connectivity, and visibility at both national and international levels.

The Commissioner expressed satisfaction with the current progress, noting that the development reflects the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to durable infrastructure. The Ministry of Works will continue to monitor and supervise the sites to ensure compliance with government regulations.
