Kogi State political parties launch 2027 election mobilization

Political mobilization for the 2027 general elections has intensified in Kogi State, with major parties organizing grassroots campaigns.

Representatives of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including Senators Isah Jubril Echocho and Sunday Steve Karimi, have launched the ‘Win With Tinubu’ Grassroots Mobilisation Programme. During a town hall meeting in the Idah Federal Constituency, organizers urged supporters to remain united behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC, citing recent government appointments and local infrastructure developments as reasons for continued support.

Simultaneously, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has begun mobilizing voters in Kogi Central. Supporters held a solidarity road walk in the Okehi Local Government Area to campaign for the re-election of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. PDP campaign officials stated the movement aims to leverage the senator’s performance during her first tenure to secure a second term in the Senate.
