Koh Young Technology to double production capacity in South Korea

Koh Young Technology is expanding its Yeoju production complex in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, by constructing a second production center. The new 12,800-square-meter facility is expected to be completed by August 2027 and will double the company’s total production capacity.

The expansion is driven by rising global demand for 3D precision measurement and inspection solutions, particularly within the artificial intelligence server and advanced semiconductor markets. The company noted that recent record quarterly sales reflect this market momentum.

In addition to its core 3D inspection portfolio, the new facility will establish production capabilities for industrial X-ray inspection equipment. The expansion will also provide infrastructure to support Koh Young’s growing medical technology business, which includes medical robotics and surgical navigation systems.
