KoHOM re-elects Zrinka Huđek-Leskovar as president
Zrinka Huđek-Leskovar has been re-elected as the president of the Coordination of Croatian Family Medicine (KoHOM) during the association's Electoral Assembly. The assembly also elected new members for the Executive Board, Supervisory Board, and Peace Council.
In her new mandate, Huđek-Leskovar emphasized the need to strengthen primary healthcare and address critical issues within family medicine. Key priorities include working with the Ministry of Health to reduce the administrative burden on doctors, which she noted negatively impacts patient care.
Additionally, the association aims to tackle staffing shortages and the lack of specializations. KoHOM will continue to advocate for the introduction of a third team member in family medicine practices and seek improved, uniform working conditions for doctors employed in health centers.
