Koichi Domoto announces nationwide tour for ‘Endless SHOCK Memories’
Koichi Domoto has announced a nationwide tour for ‘Endless SHOCK Memories -CONTINUE-’, a series of performances designed to reflect on the legacy of the long-running musical ‘Endless SHOCK’. Following the conclusion of the main production in November 2024, this new project aims to express gratitude to fans by traveling to various regions across Japan, rather than being limited to major venues like the Imperial Theatre, Umeda Arts Theater, and Hakataza.
Unlike the original production, these shows will not follow a scripted story. Instead, Domoto will use the musical’s iconic soundtrack to share behind-the-scenes anecdotes and memories in a format he described as having a ‘reunion-like atmosphere’. The tour is scheduled to include 49 performances across ten venues, including Tokyo Garden Theater, Sapporo Culture Arts Theater hitaru, and Umeda Arts Theater Main Hall.
Domoto also expressed his hope that the ‘SHOCK’ brand continues in some form in the future. He noted that while the curtain has closed on his specific era of the production, he remains inspired by the resilience of industry veterans and hopes the work leaves a lasting impact on the theatrical world.
