Koichi Domoto sets solo artist record with Oricon chart wins

Koichi Domoto has set a new record for solo artists by achieving first place in three simultaneous video categories on the Oricon Weekly Video Rankings. His latest music video work, ‘KOICHI DOMOTO LIVE TOUR 2025 RAISE’, debuted at the top of the Weekly DVD, Weekly Blu-ray Disc, and Weekly Music DVD/Blu-ray Disc rankings.

This marks his seventh consecutive achievement of topping three categories simultaneously, and his seventh time overall. With this milestone, Domoto has updated his own record for the highest number of simultaneous three-category number-one hits by a solo artist, both consecutively and in total.

The release captures his 2025 tour, featuring a live band, strings, and 12 dancers. The first-week sales reached 14,000 copies for the DVD and 30,000 copies for the Blu-ray Disc.
