Kojima Productions announces 10th anniversary exhibition in Tokyo

Kojima Productions has revealed details for its upcoming 10th anniversary exhibition, titled ‘BEYOND THE STRAND: The Route of Creation and Challenge’. The event will be held at the Azabudai Hills Gallery in Tokyo from October 31 to December 20, 2026.

The exhibition will showcase rare materials spanning the studio's decade of development. Highlights include the first public screening of early prototype footage for ‘Death Stranding’, created when the team consisted of only five to six people. Visitors can also view original design drawings by art director Yoji Shinkawa, Hideo Kojima’s handwritten notes, and props used in trailer productions.

Further sections will focus on ‘Death Stranding 2: On the Beach’, featuring early ending concepts and location scouting footage. The exhibition will also feature an immersive experience related to the upcoming horror title ‘OD’, recreating the iconic ‘red door’ from its teaser trailer. Other attractions include a 360-degree installation of ‘Death Stranding 2’ footage and a life-sized ‘10th Anniversary Ludens’ statue.
