Kojima x Bic Camera opens new retail store in Kawaguchi

Kojima, a member of the Bic Camera Group, opened the ‘Kojima x Bic Camera minanoba Kawaguchi’ store on September 17 in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture. The new retail location occupies the first and second floors of the minanoba Kawaguchi commercial facility.

The first floor focuses on portable electronics, including mobile phones, beauty products, wireless earphones, and cameras, alongside a dedicated reuse corner for second-hand gaming and mobile devices. To cater to families, the store features a toy section and ample seating in the mobile phone area. The second floor emphasizes home appliances, utilizing experiential displays such as frozen food samples to demonstrate refrigerator capacity and simulated environments to test vacuum cleaners.

Kojima President Yuji Nakazawa stated that the new location helps establish a dominant presence in the region, filling a gap between existing stores in Hatogaya, Kawaguchi, and Urawa. The store aims to serve as a community hub, featuring specialized staff including certified appliance advisors and air conditioning experts.
