Koke film reaches 10,000 viewers in Croatia

The Croatian feature film ‘Koke’, directed and written by Igor Jelinović, has reached over 10,500 viewers since its regular theatrical release began on July 23. Produced by the Zagreb-based production house Eclectica, the film has transitioned from significant festival success to strong domestic audience engagement.

Prior to its wide release, the film premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Bright Future program and was featured at the 19th Mediterranean Film Festival in Split. Most notably, the film was a major winner at the 73rd Pula Film Festival, securing the Grand Golden Arena for Best Film. Individual awards at Pula included Golden Arenas for Best Screenplay (Igor Jelinović), Best Leading Actress (Snježana Sinovčić Šiškov), and Best Supporting Actress (Aleksandra Janković), as well as the Kino mreža Award for Best Croatian Film.

Distributed by Kino Mediteran, the film is described as a humorous family drama centered on the struggle for family heritage. The production team is currently participating in a tour across Croatian cinemas to engage with audiences following the film's successful reception.
