Koke film to screen at Jadran cinema in Pag

Croatian cinema Koke film Pula Film Festival Golden Arena awards Igor Jelinović

The award-winning Croatian film ‘Koke’, directed by Igor Jelinović, will be screened at the Jadran cinema in the Pag Culture Center on August 27 at 20:30.

The film, which won the Grand Golden Arena for Best Film at the Pula Film Festival, also received awards for Best Screenplay (Snježana Sinovčić-Šiškov), Best Leading Actress (Snježana Sinovčić – Šiškov), and Best Supporting Actress (Aleksandra Janković).

Described as a warm and humorous drama with comedic elements, the story follows the relationship between two sisters, Tonina and Tajana, as they navigate family tensions and property disputes on an island. The film explores themes of friendship, maturity, and family dynamics.
