Kolašin establishes new planning agency to support regional development

Slaven Radunović, the Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property, has commended the Municipality of Kolašin for the establishment of its new local planning agency. During a working visit to the municipality, Radunović noted that the agency’s professional capacities could allow Kolašin to provide support to smaller neighboring municipalities in developing their own planning documentation.

In meetings with Mayor Petko Bakić, officials discussed urban development, communal equipment, and the legalization of buildings. A key focus of the discussions was the progress of planning documents for the Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600 ski resorts. Local representatives emphasized the need for timely institutional support from the Ministry to finalize these documents, which is essential for continuing work on the ski facilities.
