Kolašin man lends personal car to stranded family

Miodrag Mujović, a resident of Kolašin, gained public attention for his selfless assistance to a family from Novi Pazar stranded on the road. The family, led by Elvedin Bata Koničanin, experienced a vehicle breakdown while traveling from Podgorica toward Kolašin. The vehicle contained Koničanin, his wife, and four children, including an infant.

Mujović, who operates a towing service, initially assisted by transporting the broken-down vehicle to a mechanic in Kolašin. When it became clear that repairs would not be immediate, Mujović provided the family with his own car so they could continue their journey. He reportedly handed over the keys with the instruction, “Go, take the children home.”

The family used the vehicle to return safely to Novi Pazar before returning it to Mujović in Kolašin. The act of trusting strangers has been highlighted as a significant example of human solidarity and community kindness.
