Kolašin to receive Bojana River sand for stadium construction

The Municipality of Kolašin is set to receive 1,500 cubic meters of sand deposited from the Bojana River branch to support the construction of a local stadium. The material will be provided to the municipality free of charge.

According to information adopted by the Government, the sand is required as a high-quality buffer layer to be placed before the humus. The Administration for State Property noted that such specific material is unavailable elsewhere. The sand is located in Gornji Štoj, Ulcinj, where a total of approximately 107,414 cubic meters of the material has been identified. The estimated value of the sand is 36.38 euros per cubic meter.
