The Kolarac Endowment has announced the call for entries for the 4th Andrija Čikić Memorial Competition for best young composers. The event is held in memory of the young pianist and composer who tragically passed away in May 2023 at the Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School in Belgrade.

Under the patronage of the Serbian Ministry of Culture, the competition is open to youth aged 10 to 19, divided into two age categories: 10 to 14 and 14 to 19. Participants may submit one composition for piano or any other harmonic instrument, with a duration of three to five minutes. The deadline for applications is October 20.

Andrija Čikić was a highly accomplished young musician who had won multiple national and international awards and served as a national jury member for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2020.
