Kolding road closures for district‑heating work cause weekend traffic disruptions

The municipal road Esbjergvej in Kolding will be closed to through traffic for two consecutive weekends (19‑22 June and 26‑29 June) while TVIS (Trekantområdets Varmetransmissionsselskab) installs new district‑heating pipes and conducts pressure tests. Detours are posted via Hartevej, Mosebakken, and other side streets, and truck drivers are asked to use the motorway where possible. After the works, the affected sections will receive new asphalt.

Meanwhile, the E45 motorway between Aarhus and Horsens is experiencing up to 30 minutes of additional travel time due to ongoing road work. The congestion is expected to continue until the work is completed around 08:00. Drivers are advised to follow the posted detours and remain alert.
