Koleje Dolnośląskie expands seasonal Baltic coast rail service

Koleje Dolnośląskie is operating its seasonal KD Premium Nadmorski service, providing direct rail connections between Lower Silesia and the Polish Baltic coast. Due to high demand and record-breaking popularity, the carrier has implemented double train sets to accommodate travelers during the peak summer season.

The service offers a fast route from Wrocław to Świnoujście in approximately 4 hours and 58 minutes, with stops in Legnica, Lubin, Głogów, Zielona Góra, Szczecin Dąbie, and Międzyzdroje. The trains utilize modern Impuls rolling stock equipped with air conditioning and dedicated spaces for families and cyclists.

As of mid-August, the service continues to run on weekends through August 29. The rail option serves as a strategic alternative to road travel, particularly as high fuel prices and potential highway toll increases impact the cost-effectiveness of individual car trips.
