Kolkata apartment association celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with development theme

The Executive Palace Apartment Owners’ Association in Baguiati, Kolkata, is hosting a six-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebration themed ‘Parivartan – Towards a Developed Bengal with a Double Engine Government.’ The event was inaugurated by Dilip Ghosh, Minister of State for the Agricultural Marketing Department, alongside several MLAs and other dignitaries.

A central feature of the celebration is an 11-foot-tall Lord Ganesha installation by artist Mintu Pal. The display includes a 10-foot by 10-foot 3D wall designed to contrast regional developments. The installation categorizes events into ‘Before 4th May’ and ‘After 4th May’ periods, highlighting various social issues and infrastructure projects such as the New Delhi–New Jalpaiguri Bullet Train and the completion of the Chingrighata Metro viaduct gap.
