Kolmar BNH receives first Best HRD certification in health functional food ODM sector

Kolmar BNH has become the first company in the health functional food Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) industry to receive the ‘Best Human Resources Development (HRD) Excellence Institution’ certification. This certification is jointly awarded by four South Korean government ministries: the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The certification recognizes companies with superior capabilities in human resource management (HRM) and human resource development (HRD), including merit-based recruitment, personnel management, and continuous employee training. Kolmar BNH established a talent management system that connects recruitment to professional development, utilizing various learning organizations to link individual growth with organizational competitiveness.

A key component of their success is the quality control group activities, where field members identify production issues and propose improvements. Specifically, the ‘HIM-UP’ quality group, which focuses on improving processes for Atomy HemoHim, has won awards at the National Quality Management Convention for four consecutive years. The company also maintains various international certifications, including ISO 9001 and global HACCP, alongside a Gold Medal from EcoVadis for sustainability.
