Koluel Kaike celebrates 105 years of history
The Koluel Kaike Development Commission celebrated the 105th anniversary of the community with an event attended by residents, former inhabitants, local authorities, and representatives from the Government of Santa Cruz.
During the ceremony, Commissioner Tomás Cabral emphasized the community's history and the importance of collaborative work to advance new projects and infrastructure. He highlighted the use of local resources and labor for recent works, such as the construction of sidewalks using cobblestones manufactured within the locality.
Cabral also spoke regarding the identity of the residents, describing them as a community defined by struggle and a strong sense of belonging. He noted the support provided by Governor Claudio Vidal to the interior towns of Santa Cruz.
