Poland Catholic parishes hold religious services and anniversaries
Various Catholic parishes and dioceses across Poland are conducting religious services, commemorations, and pilgrimages. Key events include the celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Częstochowa and the 106th anniversary of the Battle of Komarów, which features wreath-laying ceremonies and a military choir concert.
In the Ełk Diocese, approximately 400 pilgrims completed a walking pilgrimage to Grabnik to honor Our Lady of Częstochowa. In Słońsk, the parish celebrated the 80th anniversary of its temple consecration and its 75th anniversary as a parish, with Bishop Tadeusz Lityński presiding.
In Kraków, Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś led the 13th Pilgrimage of Devotees of Divine Mercy at Łagiewniki. During his homily, he emphasized that mercy is a form of wisdom, while failing to show mercy is a form of folly. Other local activities include parish harvest festivals, marriage retreats, and various liturgical commemorations of saints.
