Komatsu launches U.S. workforce development campaign

Komatsu has launched a new workforce development campaign titled ‘The future you build starts here’ to highlight career opportunities across its United States organization and dealer network. The initiative aims to make roles in the heavy equipment industry more accessible, presenting them as long-term career paths rather than just entry-level positions.

Available roles include technicians, sales specialists, parts counter representatives, and office staff. The campaign specifically targets high school graduates, career changers, and veterans returning to the workforce. Komatsu intends to promote these opportunities through social media, live events, and a dedicated career website.

Grif Reome, Director of Technical Workforce Development at Komatsu North America, stated that the company views it as its responsibility to enable these pathways and make them visible to a broader network of people to build the workforce the industry requires for the future.
