Komborero Sibanda convicted of sexual assault in Norwich nightclub

Komborero Sibanda, a 39‑year‑old Zimbabwe‑born man living in Norwich, was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault after groping two women at Mojo’s Nightclub on 25 May 2025. The offences occurred on the dancefloor, where he placed his hands on the victims’ hips, grabbed their buttocks and ground his hips against them despite being told to stop.

Norwich Magistrates’ Court sentenced Sibanda to a 12‑month community order, 200 hours of unpaid work, placement on the UK Sex Offenders Register and £414 in court costs. In a victim impact statement she said, "It has affected my sense of safety and self‑confidence," while his defence solicitor, Anthony Nowacki, told the court that Sibanda was "extremely remorseful and sorry for what he did."
