Komdigi issues registration ultimatum to 25 electronic system providers

Indonesia’s Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) has issued an ultimatum to 25 private electronic system providers (PSE) that have failed to complete mandatory registration. The ministry sent notification letters on September 16, 2026, granting these entities until September 22, 2026, to comply with regulations.

Failure to meet the deadline may result in administrative sanctions, including access blocking or service disconnection. The list of notified providers includes several prominent domestic and foreign entities, such as the Whoosh high-speed rail service, TransJakarta, Lion Air, Pelita Air, Super Air Jet, Sriwijaya Air, Susi Air, and Shopify.

Teguh Arifiyadi, Director of Certification and Electronic Transaction Supervision at Komdigi, stated that registration is a mandatory requirement for all providers meeting the criteria established by current regulations. The list includes 23 domestic companies and two foreign entities.
