Komeda Coffee launches Blanc Noir seasonal dessert in Japan

Japan’s nationwide coffee chain Komeda Coffee announced a limited‑time menu change on July 23, introducing new desserts named "Blanc Noir" and "Blanc Neage". The Blanc Noir is a white‑themed version of the chain’s flagship Shiro Noir, featuring a warm Danish pastry topped with soft‑serve ice cream, condensed milk, powdered sugar and a cherry. Prices start at ¥860 for the regular size and ¥660 for a mini portion. Blanc Neage is a variation of the popular Cro Neige dessert, made with cocoa‑baum cake, soft‑serve, condensed milk and powdered sugar, priced from ¥710. Both items are sold at most Komeda Coffee locations across the country until late August, subject to availability. The new names reference the French word "blanc" (white), emphasizing the white‑focused presentation compared with the original Shiro Noir, whose name combines "shiro" (white) and "noir" (black).
