Komeda Coffee launches Okonomiyaki Burger with Chibo

Komeda Coffee has launched its first “Okonomiyaki Burger” in collaboration with the Osaka-based okonomiyaki specialist Chibo. The new menu item is available at Komeda Coffee locations across Japan starting October 14, with sales expected to run until mid-November or until supplies last.

The burger features a fluffy okonomiyaki patty made by Chibo, topped with cabbage, an egg omelet, and Chibo’s original sweet and savory sauce, all served on Komeda’s signature soft buns. Prices range from 950 to 1,020 yen depending on the location.

This collaboration aims to explore new possibilities for okonomiyaki by combining it with the burger format. Social media reactions have noted the high calorie count and the unique combination of flavors, including bonito flakes and red pickled ginger.
