Komen Italia organizes regional breast cancer prevention events

Komen Italia is organizing various regional events to promote breast cancer prevention and awareness. In Naples, the tenth edition of the Race for the Cure concluded in Piazza del Plebiscito. The event featured a parade starting from the Nunziatella Military School and a two-kilometer walk, emphasizing inclusion, accessibility, and the importance of early diagnosis.

In the regions of Aquino and Castrocielo, the Walk for the Cure is scheduled for October 30. Following a weather-related delay, the pink march will travel through historical sites, including the archaeological excavations of Aquino. This initiative, part of the Unione Cinquecittà 25th anniversary celebrations, aims to engage students and local institutions to spread awareness about health screenings and early detection.
