Kompassieloop charity walk raises funds for cancer support in Lelystad

The Kompassieloop 2026 charity walk in Lelystad successfully drew over 180 participants on a Friday evening. Despite a slightly lower turnout compared to the previous year, organizers deemed the event a success.

Proceeds from the registration fees support two charitable causes: Inloophuis Passie, a meeting center for people living with cancer in Lelystad, and Roparun, a long-distance relay race that raises funds for cancer patients.

The five-kilometer route featured various local landmarks and performances, including dance shows by the Energetic Crew and a poem by the city poet at the Provincial House. The event concluded at Poppodium Corneel with live music from the band Timeless.
