İkiz Konak restored and opened as boutique hotel in Çorum
The historic İkiz Konak in Çorum has been restored and officially opened as a boutique hotel. Part of the city's Culture Path Project, the restoration adhered to traditional Çorum architecture to preserve the building's original character while updating worn sections.
The hotel features a 22-bed capacity and includes a social facility named ‘Velipaşa Kahvesi’ in its garden, which will serve both hotel guests and the general public. To mark the opening, the facility welcomed families of martyrs and veterans as its first guests.
Local officials, including Çorum Governor Ali Çalgan and Mayor Dr. Halil İbrahim Aşgın, attended the ceremony. The project aims to revitalize the city's spirit through the preservation of historical structures and to contribute to local tourism.
