Konami announces eFootball 2027 update and CONNECT feature

Konami has announced the upcoming release of eFootball 2027 (version 6.0.0), scheduled to launch on August 13, 2026. The transition will be preceded by an extended server maintenance period beginning at 15:00 on August 12 to facilitate backend adjustments.

A central component of this update is the introduction of ‘eFootball CONNECT’, a new feature expected to enhance community participation and player engagement. Detailed information regarding this feature will be provided during a dedicated livestream scheduled for August 12 at 12:57 Italian time.

Key changes for the new season include the replacement of the Daily Game penalty shootout system with a new Quick Time Event (QTE) minigame. While certain seasonal store packages and fishing pools will expire during the maintenance, Konami has confirmed there will be no reset of player squads or purchased players during the transition.
