Konami announces Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2

Konami is releasing Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, scheduled for release on August 27, 2026. This compilation features several significant titles from the franchise, most notably Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. It also includes Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, originally released for the Game Boy Color.

The collection aims to adapt these classic titles for modern platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In Metal Gear Solid 4, players can utilize an in-game iPod that serves as a tactical tool; listening to music can regenerate the protagonist's psyche bar and influence the emotional states of nearby enemy soldiers.
