Konami announces Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 for August 2026

Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 will launch globally on August 27, 2026. The collection marks the first official release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on PC, utilizing a native porting process rather than simple emulation. The release will also feature enhanced internal resolution and unlocked frame rates.

In addition to Metal Gear Solid 4, the volume includes Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (HD Collection version) and the bonus title Metal Gear: Ghost Babel. The collection is scheduled to arrive on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Digital extras such as soundtracks, digital scripts, and Master Books will also be included for fans.
