Konami Announces Suikoden STAR LEAP Mobile Game Release for Japan on August 7, 2026

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced a new free‑to‑play mobile role‑playing game, **Suikoden STAR LEAP**, scheduled to launch in Japan on August 7, 2026 for iOS and Android. A pre‑launch broadcast titled “Suikoden Live Vol. 7” will be streamed on YouTube on August 6 at 20:00 JST.

The game introduces a fresh storyline centered on the Rune of Change and features the series’ classic “108 Stars of Destiny” cast, including characters such as Hisui, Shirin, Shapur, Viktor, Flik and Odessa. Voice talent includes Tomohiro Ono, Fairouz Ai, Akio Otsuka, Yuichi Nakamura and Katsuyuki Konishi. While the Japanese mobile release is confirmed, a global rollout for PC (Steam) and other platforms will be announced later. A promotional campaign offers signed artwork from the voice actors to selected participants.

The announcement marks the first entirely new entry in the Suikoden franchise since its original titles, expanding the series with modern graphics and a dot‑style aesthetic.
