Konami announces Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX remake for 2027

Konami has announced Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX, a remake of the 2008 PSP title Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3. The game is scheduled for release on February 16, 2027, for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

This updated RPG features modernized 3D graphics for characters and monsters, along with an expanded card pool of over 3,800 cards. Players will return to the Duel Academy setting, choosing from over 100 characters to form dueling partnerships. Key additions include online multiplayer for both casual and room matches, as well as a gallery mode to revisit scenes from previous titles in the series.

Pre-orders are currently available. Physical editions for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 will include special physical cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, such as Yubel (Starlight Rare), Wicked Canon (Ultra Rare), and Hope for the Future (Ultra Rare). Digital pre-orders on the eShop include codes for items in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, while Steam purchasers will receive digital wallpapers, profile icons, and an e-book.
